At The Caverswall English China Company, we are proud to be the only remaining handmade fine bone china manufacturer in the United Kingdom. Rooted in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, our mission is to preserve and celebrate the artistry of English craftsmanship whilst caring for people and the planet. RESPONSIBLY SOURCED MATERIALS

At The Caverswall English China Company, we take pride in sourcing all of our materials responsibly and locally, ensuring both exceptional quality and sustainability. Our fine bone china begins with clay from Cornwall, supporting British industry while reducing the carbon footprint associated with international imports. We have also eliminated single-use plastics from our packaging, replacing them with fully recyclable alternatives that reflect our ongoing commitment to a more sustainable future.

WHY DO WE RECYCLE?

At Caverswall English China Company, recycling is at the heart of our commitment to a sustainable, circular economy. We believe that every stage of our craft can contribute to reducing waste and conserving resources, from the way we package our products to the way we repurpose materials within our production.

By rethinking traditional practices and embracing innovative recycling methods, we ensure that our legacy of fine craftsmanship goes hand in hand with responsibility to the environment and our community.

RECYCLING FINE BONE CHINA

At Caverswall English China Company, we are dedicated to ensuring that even the finest materials are given a second life. Scraps of fine bone china, along with seconds, damaged, or broken goods, are carefully collected and recycled for use in the production of building materials, reducing waste and supporting sustainable construction practices.

In addition, the plaster molds used in our traditional manufacturing processes are also recycled and repurposed within the construction industry, ensuring that every element of our craft contributes positively to the environment while minimizing our impact on landfill.
